INSURANCE FOR YOUR STYLE

No matter what you ride we have the coverage for it. Below are the types of vehicles we can help insure.

AVAILABLE COVERAGE

Your motorcycle need just as effective coverage as the four wheeled vehicles they share the road with. Two wheels doesn't mean half the coverage, in fact, it means coverage needs to be even more dynamic. You need coverages that are as unique as your bike, below you will find a sample of unique coverage options.

STANDARD COVERAGES

Sorting through insurance coverages can often be confusing and frustrating.  Below are some general concepts about auto insurance and the common coverages that are offered.  For details specific to your policy, please refer to the policy language issued by your insurance company.  Only your policy can accurately describe the coverages afforded to you.

Minimum Coverage

Just like cars, the state of Illinois requires a minimum amount of insurance coverage for motorcycles. These limits are required, however, might not always be enough coverage for some people. These limits are the minimum, but you may choose to increase these limits to suite your needs. The minimum limits Illinois requires is:

  • Bodily Injury - $25,000 per person/$50,000 per accident

  • Property Damage - $20,000

  • Uninsured Motorist - $25,000 per person/$50,000 per accident

Liability Insurance
Liability insurance covers damage you may do to other people (bodily injury) or their property (property damage) up to your policy limits.  Bodily injury is related to the injuries caused to others and property damage is damages to another person's physical asset, examples maybe the other person's car, the city's street pole, etc.

Physical Damage
Physical damage is the coverage to fix or replace for your vehicle if damaged.  You will be responsible for the deductible first and then the company will pay the amount beyond that.  People often refer to this as full coverage, however full coverage is actually a combination of liability and physical damage.  Also note that there are some excluded situations with all coverages.

Medical Payments
Medical payments is a coverage to pay for you and your passenger’s medical bills arising out of an accident, regardless of fault in the accident.
